The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust rocks. Located in Stratford, UK, Shakespeare's birthplace, they are the epicenter of Shakespearean history. They're the people who truly have Will's back when he gets a-slandered (see our rantings about the film Anonymous in recent posts). As Cassio would say, "Reputation, reputation, reputation! O, I have lost my reputation! ... My reputation, my reputation!"(Othello 2.3.156-159).
In this utterly brilliant online "conference", the Birthplace Trust presents sixty, 60-second sound bytes from some of the world's most knowledgeable and interesting Shakespeare experts. Listen and weep, Doubters!
You have to "register," but it's free and easy--just your name and email. It's a small bit of effort for pure liquid Shakespeare delight.
