Some Bleak Mid-Winter Spirits; or, What Would Leontes Drink?
Ingredients:
20l of unchlorinated water
3.2 kg amber malt extract
Yeast (eg Wyeast 1968 Londin ESB style or 1084 Irish Age)
450g crystal malt speciality grain
115 to 130g bittering hops
dash of bitterness
One steep'd spider
Directions:
Brew for nine months. Add spider at the last minute. Bottoms up!
And for Antigonus....

Pour both ingredients into 1 ounce shot glass. Take as a beer chaser (or drink if being chased by a bear).
