Shakespeare at Large

Looking for a break from the traditional parade/hot dog/fireworks trifecta this Fourth of July? Check out this celebration put on by Shakespeare & Co. in Lenox, MA. Sure--maybe Shakespeare was dead by the time the Declaration of Independence was written, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't have enjoyed this.

**Speaking of authenticity, stay tuned in the coming weeks for Michelle's reports from the field as she travels around England and leaves me in the suburban American dust.

  1. Okay, it's not quite Fourth of July yet, but tonight hubby and I enjoyed a fine performance of Richard III at the Kansas City FREE Shakespeare Festival tonight. Why is Shakespeare so much better outdoors with beer and Kettle Corn?
