I just had to give a shout-out to the Globe theater, which is currently staging "37 Shakespeare plays from 37 different countries." Up next is this West African version of The Winter's Tale. I love the West African/Shakespeare thematic connections, especially with regards to myth, rebirth, maternal power (literal and symbolic), etc., etc. That's just right up Shakespeare alley.
