Dear Magic Shake-Ball:
Did these cheerleaders catch Tourettes from a parasite, or is it mass hysteria? And if my child "catches it" can I stop worrying about "teaching manners" and "good parenting" and just chalk up any bad behavior to the Tourettes?
Answer:
"I know vat I have to do. Adieu"
(Merry Wives of Windsor 5.3.5)
Interpretation:
Hmm.... the comic French physician, Dr. Caius. He talks funny, so I can see some connection here to the Tourettes question. Nice touch. But I think the real message you're trying to tell me is about maternal interference: Mistress Page wants her daughter Anne to marry the Doctor, but nothing she does can stop Anne from marrying Fenton. Soooo... I should stop worrying about getting my kids to do the "right thing" because it's out of my control. Thanks, Shake-Ball!
