Homebaked Shakespeare

Throwing a Cinco de Mayo party? Think about adding these margarita recipes to your celebration for an extra heady kick!

Lady Macbeth's "Strawberry" Margarita

• Half a cup of "strawberry" puree
• • Two cups of ice, preferably crushed using your husband's balls
• • One cup tequila
• • One cup of lime juice
• • Lime cut into wedges
• • Glassware: Margarita glass
• • Splash triple sec
• • Sugar syrup

Mix the contents in a blender. Pour the contents into the margarita glasses and serve chilled. Just the way I like it.

Ophelia's Frozen Virgin Margarita

4 cups ice cubes, made from the miry depths of a lonely brook
6 ounces thawed limeade concentrate
4 wedges of lime
2 table spoons of coarse salt

Prepare the margarita glasses by rubbing the rim with a wedge of lime and dipping the rim on coarse salt wrung from the tears of a heartbroken teenage girl.

Put the ingredients in a blender and blend on a high speed for a few minutes until it is blended well and the ice cubes crushed. Like your dreams. Pour the drinks evenly into the glasses. Put lime wedges on each glass rim and serve.
