Magic Shake-Ball
Question for Magic Shake-Ball:
Was Victoria Jackson always this much of a kook?
Magic Shake-Ball's Response:
"I have sent to seek him and to find the body.
How dangerous is it that this man goes loose!" (Hamlet, 4.3.1-2)
Interpretation:
OK, at first glance this makes tons of sense. This is King Claudius talking about how Hamlet's gone crazy, stabbed Polonius(Ophelia's dad), and hidden Polonius' dead body. So you could say that Hamlet=turned crazy=Victoria Jackson. But here's the thing. Hamlet's just pretending to be crazy, whereas Victoria seems like the real deal. Also, Claudius' next lines are about how he can't be mean to Hamlet because everyone loves him so much.
Still, Shake-Ball, if we take the lines out of context, and focus instead on the big bow atop Ms. Jackson's looney talking head, it all starts to make sense.
