After I fell down the stairs last week, I decided that it was time for carpeting. That’s when my problems really began. How exactly does one choose a “runner”? What color? A solid? A pattern? Light? Dark?
Oh, Magic Shake-Ball, end my troubles and pick for me!
Magic Shake-Ball’s Answer:
“O me, what eyes hath love put in my head,
Which have no correspondence with true sight!” (Sonnet 148, lines 1-2)
Interpretation:
As in, “love is screwing with my head, and I’m confusing crap for good stuff.”
Um, don’t hold back, Shake-Ball. I know I’m color-blind when it comes to interior design, but I didn’t realize that I was that clueless.
Here’s what I’m going to do: rank my fabric swatches from best to worst, and then go with the “worst” (a.k.a. the one that people with good taste would pick).
