Lady M: What’s the title of your new book?
Cleopatra: Commanding Women (And the Men Who Follow Their Commands).
Lady M: Ooh--that sounds fascinating.
Cleopatra: Yes, it is.
Lady M: Is it autobiographical?
Cleopatra: Of course.
Lady M: Will this book be controversial?
Cleopatra: That’s the hope. Everything I do is meant to attract attention. My publicists have arranged some men-only late night book readings to stir things up.
Lady M: To “stir things up”? Could you explain that?
Cleopatra: The intention is to pull them away from their wives.
Lady M: I don’t mean to be cynical, but why would these men come to hear about Commanding Women?
Cleopatra: All men who attend my book readings will be given complimentary signed photos of me, a Cleopatra: Snake Nasty! poster, and a chance to appear as an extra in a movie about my life. Plus a Wii Fit.
Lady M: But will these men actually buy your book?
Cleopatra: No, but their wives will. Guaranteed.
