I was going to watch the vice presidential debate and try to make some kind of Shakespearean connection to it all, but I just couldn't stomach it. So instead I decided to think about Halloween. Here's a costume idea that Michelle and I came up with a few years ago: Drowned Ophelia. You definitely won't be accused of being a lazy iparty Mom when little Whitney shows up wearing this number!
