Homebaked Shakespeare

You may have noticed that Michelle is usually the one posting on Fridays. That's because she actually enjoys cooking and does it regularly for her family and friends. Me--not so much. I prefer the exotic frozen food section of Trader Joe's. In other words, I would have been a terrible match for an Elizabethan man who expected a nice stew with some homemade bread or a home-killed bit of poultry on the table every night.

This is why I am grateful for the lovely Dianne Berg and her Elizavegan blog. I haven't tried these chickpea pancakes yet, but I loved reading her riff on The Shoemaker's Holiday and Pancake Day!
