The lovely and talented Sarah Skwire has this to say about the whole "Shakespeare must have been an aristocrat" argument—the latest version of which is about to hit the big screen. Thanks, Hollywood, for giving us Shakespeare professors more myths to beat out of our students' heads.
Like it isn't bad enough that we make 1/100th of what the screenwriter probably made. Not that I'm bitter or anything.
